We are excited to host a diaper/baby food drive for this Mother’s Day in support of one of our local outreach partners, the Pregnancy Help Centre. This is a great opportunity to tangibly meet the needs in our community.
The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. You can donate to a team of local KSCC members or you can join the group and walk with them.
This season of Lent (February 14–March 31), we’re hosting a Food Drive to stock our benevolent pantry and serve those who are under-resourced in our community.
We’re organizing a missions trip to Azores, Portugal with our Global Outreach Partners Jorge & Jacinta Melo, happening in August 2024. Project: Children’s Ministry, Ministry program for Men and Women, Light Construction, Food Program, Prayer Walks, Bible Distribution, Testimonies, etc.
Every year, as we prepare for the Christmas Season, we get to serve together as a church family! With the common goal of spreading the love of Christ, we are partnering with different organizations in our community with meeting some of their needs. It is also a chance for us to decorate our church and get it ready to welcome our community “home” this Christmas time.
As a part of our Christmas At King initiatives this year, we are continuing the annual tradition of filling up Samaritan's Purse Christmas shoeboxes as a part of “Operation Christmas Child” to bless children around the world and show them the light of Jesus. You will be able to sign out a shoebox to fill up either your own or with your family and depending on the age group that you select give toys, activities, personal care items, clothing, etc.
This Thanksgiving season, in the spirit of giving back and helping to support our local community, we as a church are engaging in a Thanksgiving Blood Drive. All throughout the week after Thanksgiving, we encourage you to find a local donation site and give blood, if possible.
Join us in the spirit of gratitude and giving as we host a Thanksgiving Food Drive! This heartfelt event is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need in a tangible way.
We are having a training session for our kids ministry volunteers as an opportunity to give you the tools you need to help our kids become fully devoted followers of Christ.
Come join us for a family friendly movie, and dinner, and a chance to reconnect with old friends and meet up with some new ones. Cost for the event is $10 per person.
Help us give extravagantly by washing people’s cars, providing some refreshments, and brightening their day. There are so many ways you can help us on the day of the car wash.
