We are running ESL (English as a Second Language) classes again on Wednesday Evenings! Whether you’re just starting to learn English or looking to build on your skills at a more advanced level, these classes are for you.
Divorce Care is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before.
Come experience a Sunday that’s a little different, a little more interactive, and a whole lot of family fun. A special morning where we celebrate all ages, young and old!

This Lent, we’re inviting our church family to journey with Jesus through a shared Bible reading plan.
We’ll be following the YouVersion devotional Journeying with Jesus—40 Days of Lent, a daily rhythm to slow down, reflect, and prepare our hearts for Easter. We’ll read together and share insights along the way. This plan is for everyone—individuals, families, and those at every stage of faith.
Ash Wednesday is a practice with roots from the 6th century Roman Church. It marks the beginning of the Lenten season focused on repentance, mortality, fasting and prayers as preparation for Easter. We invite you to join us for our inaugural Ash Wednesday gathering, where we lean into trusting the God who made us for this life and the one to come.

In a world that feels more anxious than ever, many of us wrestle with worry, overthinking, and a sense of being constantly on edge. This elective will help you understand the nature of anxiety—what’s happening in your body and mind—and how faith can guide you toward peace.
We believe children are a gift from God, and Child Dedication is a moment for parents to give thanks and affirm their intention to raise their children to know and love Him. Parents commit to modeling a Christ-following life, teaching Scripture and prayer, and helping their child understand they belong to the Body of Christ. Dedications happen on the fifth Sunday, four times a year, and you can request a moment using the form.

The Starting Point is a relaxed, welcoming class for anyone who’s new to faith, returning after some time away, or simply curious about what we believe as a church. It’s a space for learning, asking honest questions, and exploring faith without pressure—just a chance to take your next step.
Pursue is a Christian Conference for students grades 6–12, and it has consistently been a highlight for many students of our youth ministry each year. The heart for this event is to create space for students to genuinely encounter God, grow in their faith, and be encouraged alongside other young people who are pursuing Jesus.

The coming alongside ministries include mentoring, coaching, spiritual direction, discipling and even spiritual friendship.

As we begin a new year, we’re inviting everyone at King Street Church to take part in a brief church-wide check-in. This survey is a chance to pause, reflect, and share how you’re doing spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
This January, we’re inviting our church family to create and donate handmade knit or crochet items. Items collected will be sold at our fundraiser in February, with all proceeds going to support those facing homelessness and housing insecurity in Durham Region through the Refuge in Oshawa.
