We're thrilled to welcome 12 amazing summer interns to the team! You'll see them around the church lending a hand with our kids and youth ministries, and helping bring Vacation Day Camp to life. Be sure to say hi when you see them!

What are you up to these days? I'm a stay at home mom of two kids. Working at KSCC part-time.
Why are you excited to be a part of the KSCC intern team? KSCC puts together the most incredible kids camp every summer. I'm excited to teach kids about the love that God has for them and to be a part of all the planning and behind the scenes work for camp.

What are you up to these days? I’m currently attending Fleming college for the mental health and addictions program.
Why are you excited to be a part of the KSCC intern team this summer? I am excited to be an intern again because I love meeting and working with people!

What are you up to these days? I am going into grade 11 and am hoping to go into Health Sciences in University.

What are you up to these days? Just graduated high school, taking some time for arts and crafts this summer, pursuing Biomedical Engineering at UWaterloo in the fall!
Why are you excited to be a part of the KSCC intern team this summer? Working at KSCC is always such a fun and rewarding experience! I’m excited to be part of the team this summer because I love creating a fun and welcoming space where kids can grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and experience God in new and meaningful ways. Being part of something that helps make those moments possible is a privilege, and I can’t wait to see how God works through all of us this summer!

What are you up to these days? I’m a University student, going into my last year of my Bachelor of Social Work!

What are you up to these days? I’m a high school student!
Why are you excited to be a part of the KSCC intern team this summer? I'm excited to be part of KSCC this summer because I love working with kids and being a part of creating the summer camp experience.
Serenity Lin

What are you up to these days? I’m currently preparing for my Grade 10 piano exam, which has been a big part of my life for years. At the same time, I’m working hard in school because I want to pursue a career in dentistry. I’ve always loved learning about the human body and health sciences, and becoming a dentist really aligns with both my interests and long-term goals.
Why are you excited to be a part of the KSCC intern team this summer? I’m excited to be part of the KSCC team this summer because I want to grow in my faith while helping and connecting with others.

What are you up to these days? I am graduating high school and going to Redeemer University in the fall to pursue a major in Psychology
Why are you excited to be a part of the KSCC intern team this summer? I’m excited to be part of the KSCC team this summer because I have a passion for sharing the love of Christ and helping children come to know Him in a real and personal way. I’m looking forward to watching the kids grow in their faith, build strong friendships, and experience God’s joy through camp!

What are you up to these days? These days I am spending time swimming and hiking at my trailer this summer. I am attending Ontario Tech University in the education program with the aspiration of becoming a teacher someday!
Why are you excited to be a part of the KSCC intern team this summer? I am so excited to be apart of the amazing summer intern team because we get the opportunity to create a super fun camp to help introduce so many kids to having a relationship with God!

What are you up to these days? I recently graduated from the Victimology program at Durham College, and now that I’ve completed my studies, I’m taking the summer to pursue an internship with KSCC. It’s a great opportunity to continue building experience working with children and youth, which is where my passion lies. After the internship, I’m planning to seek a permanent role supporting young people within the justice system.
Why are you excited to be a part of the KSCC intern team this summer? I’m excited to be part of the KSCC team this summer! I believe my passion for working with children and youth, along with my experience in youth ministry and sharing the gospel, will be a valuable addition to the team. I'm deeply committed to helping young people grow in their faith and reach their full potential in their walk with the Lord.

What are you up to these days? I’m planning on working all summer since I just graduated! I’m starting my first year in September at McMaster studying social work!
Why are you excited to be a part of the KSCC intern team this summer? I’m thrilled that I was given the opportunity to be able to help out and run VBC. I’m excited for the new friends I’m going to make as well as helping the kids have an amazingly fun and God filled summer. I can’t wait to use the knowledge I learn from working here throughout my life going forward!
