Inaugural Bike Ride

The men’s group will be hosting a bicycle ride on Sunday, May 28th. There will be two rides, details and registration below…

Where/When

We’ll be meeting at the KSCC parking lot, please be there by 1:45pm and be ready to ride.

Who should come?

Men or women who want to go for a bike ride; children will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

What to bring?

Your bike and helmet. Helmets are mandatory, if you don’t have a helmet—you won’t be allowed to join the ride. Cycling is an outdoor activity, please dress for the weather. However, the event will be cancelled if it is raining.

What to expect: Ride 1 (approx. 1 hour)

Approximately 12–15 km mainly on bike paths, with a limited amount of residential roads and road crossings. Appropriate for all types of bikes—road, hybrid, or mountain bikes. No one will be left behind.

What to expect: Ride 2 (approx. 1.5–2 hours)

Approximately 30–35 km mainly on roads. Riders must be confident cycling on roads and near other riders. You will need a hybrid or road style bike for this ride. A rear red flashing light is highly recommended. No one will be left behind.
