Dave Larmour | Lead PAstor

A teacher, communicator, and visionary, Dave loves to help people discover God and realize just how loved by him they truly are. Since 2006, Dave has been deeply invested in positioning KSCC as a champion of the gospel within the Durham Region. As Lead Pastor, Dave oversees King Street’s vision and weekly teaching, while providing mentorship to the pastoral staff team. Dave is husband to Pia, and Dad to his young adult daughters, Bethany and Riley, and the family dog, Chase. He is a hopeless Toronto Maples Leaf’s fan and a firm believer that through God all things are possible—even a Stanley Cup! In his spare time, Dave enjoys early morning walks and a good leadership development book. Dave holds a Bachelor of Theology from Master's College in Peterborough and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Briercrest Seminary in Saskatchewan.

Gary Campbell | Small groups & operations

A former board member and longtime attendee of King Street, Gary joined the staff team in 2016. Gary’s role at King is a lot bigger than his title tells. In addition to providing leadership to our small groups, facility, and church financials, Gary oversees our outside event rentals, Sunday morning ushering and first impressions teams, as well as our men’s groups. Gary is husband to Maria, and father to David, Daniel and the newest addition to the Campbell family: baby Mayah. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan University, studied Finance at McMaster University, and is currently working toward his Masters of Theological Studies at Tyndale Seminary in Toronto.

Danielle-Raycroft

Danielle Raycroft | Worship & arts

A talented worship leader and administrator, Danielle joined the King Street team in August of 2017. Danielle first fell in love with seeing people encounter God through music when she began leading worship at the age of 14. Danielle uses her strong administrative skills, developed through a career in the legal field, to build teams of talented musicians and creatives, and to design weekly worship experiences that point people to Jesus through music and multimedia. Danielle is married to her lifelong family friend and co-worker, Jordan - she loves that they get to work together at King Street! In her free time, Danielle enjoys spending quality time with family and frequenting her local McDonald’s —“Big Mac with no onions please!

pia larmour | children's pastor & volunteer coordinator

Since joining the team in 2006, Pia has used her many talents to serve in a variety of areas at KSCC. In addition to providing leadership to our Children’s and Volunteer Departments, Pia also oversees our women’s groups. Pia’s role has her interacting regularly with every generation in our church. With the help of many fantastic volunteers, Pia loves helping people discover how deeply loved they are by God. Pia is married to Dave and together they have two daughters, Bethany and Riley, and a sweet cockapoo named Chase. In her spare time, Pia enjoys being active (trying new fitness classes to balance her love for all things sugar) and spending quiet time outdoors, but the highlight of her day is being with her family! Pia holds a Ministerial Diploma from Master's College, a Medical Assistant diploma from Sheridan College and at Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo.

Jordan-Raycroft

jordan Raycroft | Outreach & young adults

Since joining the King Street team in August of 2017, Jordan has been serving in a role where his passions and gifts collide in engaging communities and designing opportunities to point people to Christ. Jordan oversees our partnerships with local and global non-profit organizations, community outreach activities, and provides leadership to our King Street Young Adults. Proudly and happily married to Danielle since May of 2016 (fun fact: they met as babies!), Jordan enjoys playing music with her and, when time allows, perfecting his strategy for global domination through three-hour games of Risk. Jordan holds a B.A., Honours from the University of Guelph and is currently working toward his Masters of Theological Studies in Development from Wycliffe College at the University of Toronto.

Abbey-Ferreira

Abbey ferreira | youth pastor

Abbey is passionate about seeing young people develop lasting and authentic relationships with Jesus. Providing leadership to our King Street Students (Jr. and Sr. High), Abbey works tirelessly to create an environment that allows for intimate worship of God and discipleship of our young people. Abbey holds a Bachelor’s of Theology from Master’s College and Seminary, the place where she met her best friend and husband, Jon. Abbey has been married to Jon since 2014 and together they have a beautiful baby girl, Alayah (yes, they are Star Wars fans). Most days you’ll find Abbey sipping dark roast coffee and working to the sound of worship music or a teaching podcast. Next to being a mom, learning people’s stories and seeing God work in their lives is her top passion. Abbey loves to chat and get to know people, so make sure to connect with her next time you’re at King Street!

Ken-Larmour

ken larmour | care pastor

Ken joined the King Street team in 2007. With more than 3 decades of church ministry experience, Ken provides leadership to our Oasis Senior’s Group and care ministry, visiting members of our community in need of pastoral support. Ken and his wife, Diane, have been married since 1963 and are are parents to Kim and Dave, and grandparents to Kaitlyn, Kyle, Bethany and Riley. Before entering pastoral ministry, Ken spent twenty-six years in the Graphic Arts industry - rumour has it that he also served a brief stint as the drummer in a rock band. Ken graduated from Master's College in 1988 and has pastored in Kingston, Kinburn, and Brighton, Ontario.

Gaie-Payne

gaie payne | reception/bookkeeper

Hailing from the great province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Gaie has been the friendly voice and smiling face of King Street since 2000. She serves as our receptionist and bookkeeper extraordinaire, making sure that things run smoothly behind the scenes. All of our team agrees: without her we’d be lost. She holds an Office Administration Diploma from the College of the North Atlantic. Gaie is married to Ken and together they have two sons, Peter & Timothy, and she is Nana to Chloe, Zachary and Nathan. In her spare time, she likes to read and watch movies with her family.

barbara de guzman | ministry assistant

Barb joined the King Street team in February of 2018 to help expand our capacity for administration. As Ministry Assistant, Barb assists in many areas of church life. From Children’s to Small Groups, and Outreach, Barb has her hands on just about everything that happens here. Barb is wife to Fil and mom to Hannah, Jessie, and Nate. Her two favourite things (besides family): sushi and the ocean. Barb loves to create and, when she’s not eating sushi, enjoys working on her art.

Lauren elford | design & communication

Lauren recently graduated from the School of Design at George Brown College, and began working at KSCC in June of 2018. Lauren is passionate about making us look good, and oversees all aspects of our church-wide branding, design, and social media and communications strategies. Lauren’s role often has her supporting our various ministries behind the scenes through creative solutions. From Scripture Talk visuals to web design, just about anything that looks nice here at King Street had its’ start on Lauren’s MacBook. When she’s not creating in her office, you can find her hunting for snacks with Barb, working on her laptop outside or playing with her camera.
