Dave Larmour | Lead PAstor
I am privileged to be the primary teacher, communicator, and visionary at King Street Community Church, I love to help people discover God and help people realize that the first and last word spoken over their life is 'they are loved'. Since 2006, I have been deeply invested in positioning KSCC as a champion of the gospel within the Durham Region. As Lead Pastor, I am privileged to oversee King Street’s vision and weekly teaching, while providing coaching to the pastors and staff. I am married to Pia, and Dad to my two young adult daughters - Bethany and Riley, and the family dog, Chase. I have to admit, I am a Toronto Maples Leaf’s fan and a firm believer that through God all things are possible—even a Stanley Cup for all Leaf fans! In my spare time, I enjoy early morning walks and a good leadership development book. I have a Bachelor of Theology from Master's College in Peterborough and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Briercrest Seminary in Saskatchewan and I get to serve a fantastic church and community!
Gary Campbell | Small groups & operations
I am the primary Small Group leader, overseeing a team of other leader shepherds, where I strive to implement systems that help all experience authentic relationships and spiritual growth through communities of circles. In addition to our Small Group leadership, I oversee our Adult Ministries including Men’s Ministries and our Adult Electives. My aim is to equip Christ followers for engagement with the people and places around them in a way that brings Jesus glory! On the operational side, I oversee both finance and facility, as well as, coach a segment of our pastors and staff. I get to serve a wonderful church community, and I count it all as blessing and privilege from God! Having a background in both the financial services and higher education, I joined the staff of KSCC in January of 2017. I’m passionate about helping people discover their identity in Christ in order to realize their God-given potential. My lovely wife Maria and I are parents to our three wonderful children, David, Daniel and Mayah. (All three born within 3 years of each other, pray for us!) I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science and Economics from Eastern Michigan University and studied graduate level economics at McMaster University. I am currently working towards my Master of Theological Studies at Tyndale Seminary in Toronto.
Danielle Raycroft | Worship & arts
A talented worship leader and administrator, Danielle joined the King Street team in August of 2017. Danielle first fell in love with seeing people encounter God through music when she began leading worship at the age of 14. Danielle uses her strong administrative skills, developed through a career in the legal field, to build teams of talented musicians and creatives, and to design weekly worship experiences that point people to Jesus through music and multimedia. Danielle is married to her lifelong family friend and co-worker, Jordan - she loves that they get to work together at King Street! In her free time, Danielle enjoys spending quality time with family and frequenting her local McDonald’s —“Big Mac with no onions please!
pia larmour | children's pastor & volunteer coordinator
I have served at King Street Community Church in many areas, and am privileged to give leadership to our Kid’s Department, as well as overseeing volunteers and our women’s groups. I love the opportunity to work with volunteers to help people of all ages discover how deeply loved they are by God. I am married to Dave and we have to amazing young adult children, Bethany and Riley. We also have a sweet cockapoo named Chase. Because of my love of all things sugar, I enjoy being active to balance that out. I also enjoy spending some quiet time outdoors, but the highlight of each day for me is being with my family. I have graduated from Master’s College, Sheridan College (Medical Office Administration) and have completed a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo. I love our church family and it is a huge privilege to serve at KSCC.
jordan Raycroft | pastor of global/local outreach & young adults
Since joining the King Street team in August of 2017, I’ve had the pleasure of serving in a role where my passions and gifts collide in engaging communities and designing opportunities for people to share their resources in ways that point others to Christ. I get to provide leadership to our local serve teams and outreach initiatives, short-term missions trips, and partnerships with local and global non-profit organizations; I also have the pleasure of pastoring the students and young professionals of King Street Young Adults (KSYA). In May of 2016 I married the woman of my dreams, Danielle, (fun fact: we met as babies!) and one of the best parts about my job is that I get to work (and sing) with her. I hold a Bachelor of Arts, Honours from the University of Guelph and am currently working toward my Masters of Theological Studies in Development at Wycliffe College, University of Toronto.
Abbey ferreira | youth pastor
Abbey is passionate about seeing young people develop lasting and authentic relationships with Jesus. Providing leadership to our King Street Students (Jr. and Sr. High), Abbey works tirelessly to create an environment that allows for intimate worship of God and discipleship of our young people. Abbey is in progress of completing a Bachelor’s of Theology degree from Master’s College and Seminary, the place where she met her best friend and husband, Jon. Abbey has been married to Jon since 2014 and together they have a beautiful baby girl, Alayah (yes, they are Star Wars fans). Most days you’ll find Abbey sipping dark roast coffee and working to the sound of worship music or a teaching podcast. Next to being a mom, learning people’s stories and seeing God work in their lives is her top passion. Abbey loves to chat and get to know people, so make sure to connect with her next time you’re at King Street!
ken larmour | care pastor
I joined the King Street team in 2007 with more than three-decades of church ministry experience. I presently provide leadership to our Oasis Group (60+) and care ministry, visiting members of our community in need of pastoral support. Diane and I have been married since 1963 and are parents to Kim and Dave, and grandparents to Kaitlyn, Kyle, Bethany and Riley. Before I entered pastoral ministry, I spent twenty-six years in the Graphic Arts industry - rumour has it that I even served a brief stint as the drummer in a rock band. In 1988, I graduated from Master's College and Seminary, and have had the pleasure of pastoring at churches in Kingston, Brighton, and the Ottawa Valley.
gaie payne | reception/bookkeeper
Hailing from the great province of Newfoundland and Labrador, I've been on staff since 2000. I serve as a Receptionist/Bookkeeper, making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes. I hold an Office Administration Diploma from the college of the North Atlantic. I knew Mary's chicken and together we have two sons, Peter and Timothy, and I am Nana to Chloe Zachary and Nathan. In my spare time I like to read, watch movies, and take road trips with my family!
barbara de guzman | ministry assistant
I joined the King Street team in February of 2018 to help expand the capacity for administration. As Ministry Assistant, I assist in many areas of church life. From Children’s to Small Groups, and Outreach. I have my hands on just about everything that happens here! I’m married to Fil and I am a mom to Hannah, Jessie, and Nate. Some of my favourite things are sushi, the ocean and trying (not always succeeding) to recreate things I see on Pinterest.
Lauren elford | design & communication
I recently graduated from the School of Design at George Brown College, and began working at KSCC in June of 2018. I love typography and I’m a big foodie—two passions I married together when completing my thesis! I oversee all aspects of our church-wide branding, design, social media and communications strategies. My role is to support various ministries behind the scenes through creative solutions such as web design and print media. Though I do work on the computer all day—I much prefer to be outdoors or staying active! VDC is my favourite time of year here, where I get to venture out of my office and take photos of all the cute little faces.
