THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN OUR SHORT-TERM OUTREACH TO NUNAVUT!

We are sending a team to Canada’s Arctic to serve the community of Pangnirtung, Nunavut from July 28 to August 4, 2019. Pangnirtung (or “Pang) is located on Baffin Island and is home to just over 1400 people. The mission of this trip is threefold, and will accomplish the following:

  • Relationship Building with local churches and community leaders

  • Capacity Building by providing skill training based on community needs and team member abilities

  • Partnership Assessment - what is required of KSCC to establish an effective long-term partnership with the community?

Minimum qualifications of team members:

  • Professes faith in Jesus Christ in accordance with the shared beliefs of King Street Community Church

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Active and regular participant in good standing at King Street Community Church

  • Ability to fund the personal costs associated with their participation on the trip (approx. $2500) through personal finances and fundraising

  • Availability to attend at least 4 team training meetings leading up to the trip and 1 post-trip debrief

  • Successful Police Screening in the Vulnerable Sector
