Community takes work!!! It takes people giving of themselves to make it better. At King Street Youth, we are continually on this journey to be a true Christian community. Below are the marks of a true Christian community according to Romans 12:9-16:

The marks of a true Christian community are:

1. Students who don't just pretend to love people, but in fact really do [v. 9]

2. Students who hate what is wrong but hold tight to what is right [v. 9]

3. Students who love each other like family [v. 10]

4. Students who take delight in honouring one another [v. 10]

5. Students who aren't lazy, but work hard to serve Jesus wholeheartedly [v. 11]

6. Students who get excited about Jesus and the hope he brings [v.12]

7. Students who are patient in troubles and continually keep praying [v.12]

8. Students who see when people are in need and are eager to help them [v. 13]

9. Students who open up and accept others into their community [v. 13]

10. Students who don't hate people who mistreat them, but pray for them [v. 14]

11. Students who are happy with those who happy, and cry with those who cry [v.15]

12. Students who live life with each other in normal everyday life [v. 16]

13. Students who love, accept, and enjoy hanging out with non-perfect people [v. 16]

14. Students who know they don't know it all but are eager to learn [v. 16]
