This is the vision and strategy of King Street Church and King Street Youth Ministry. At King Street we are working towards creating an environment where our core values will be implemented in everything that we do. We want to be a community of people where are values shine through and point people towards Jesus Christ. Ultimately we want to be "a safe place to grow" where all people can and begin, belong, build, and become.
CORE VALUES:
We Value- the Bible and believe that when it is responsibly handled and relevantly taught that it is the primary catalyst for life change.
- people who are far from God and believe that they matter to the Father and because God values them, we will make them our priority.
- excellence and believe that it inspires people and glorifies God and ought to characterize everything we do.
- worship of God that is multi-sensory, honest and accurate in its expression.
- the simple discovery, responsible development and wise deployment of spiritual gifts in service and Christ, the Church and our community.
- relationships that are formed in small groups that reach, nurture and help us grow in our devotion to Christ.
- prayer as a way to help us know God.
- God's design for family and believe that when the family is working well, society will function better!
- all people, indiscriminate of ethnicity, gender, socio-economic background and faith persuasion.
- creativity and innovation in everything we do.

CORE VALUES:
At King Street Youth, our vision comes firstly from the overall vision for our church. We don't want to segregate ourselves from the overall church but we believe that our youth ministry functioning under the vision of King Street Church will help strengthen not only our youth community but the whole church community. We envision King Street Youth to be a safe and fun community where high school students can build relationships with each other, with adult leaders, and with God. We believe that our students can experience the love of Christ in a real and powerful way that will help strengthen relationships with family, friends, and the everyday people they encounter. We see students understanding and becoming passionate about living out their faith in Jesus Christ in a practical way within a safe community. We see all our adult leaders, interns, and students joining in this vision as we journey through life together.
