OASIS (for adults 60+)

Mature adults have a wealth of experience and so much to contribute to life and faith. Here at King Street Church, we provide events for mature adults who are looking to contribute and to relate with others.  Our ministry to seniors is called OASIS - Older Adults Sharing In Service.  We believe that when senior adults are spiritually alert and healthy, that so much good can come from their lives of service. 

Growing older is an opportunity to point future generations in a healthy direction.  At King Street Church we need our senior adults to show us the way!  We thank God for every mature person in Christ who has lived a faith-filled life and is committed to leaving a legacy of hope and courage.  We are privileged to have dozens of senior adults who have positively contagious attitudes and hands that are quick to serve.  They’ve adopted an approach to life and ministry that includes serving one another and investing in emerging generations.

There are special events throughout the year that are designed to help those 60+ relate with each other and to participate in events that help others. Quarterly this group gathers to encourage one another and to serve the greater church and community.
