Why do bad things happen to good people?

1. Karma - The total effect of a person's actions and conduct during the successive phases of the person's existence, regarded as determining the person's destiny.

2. Job was not in a position to question his purpose. Isaiah 45:9 "Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?"

3. To suggest that Job would fail his tests would be contrary to everything written in the Bible -- as it would mean that an Angel would have more knowledge, foresight, and power than God. Furthermore, it was God that used Satan to cause the effects that he wanted to follow (Job 1:8).

This topic is highly complex...but I like your presentation / topic. Actually...I am looking forward to rejoining with my Christian family, but am a little concerned that your specific doctrine is a little to radical. Do people "speak in tongues" in your congregation?
