Missions' News from around the World

Transformation - Tuesday March 15, 2011

Today was a good day of Presentations. We had a full day with three school presentations. Our team continues to do a great job at each school and I've been so impressed with how they interact, love, and care for each child they come into contact with. I know as the week goes on, our team will continue to be a blessing to the children of Barbados.

As I was reflecting on today and what to blog about, I quickly thought about an observation I made tonight as we gathered together for team devotionals. There has been such a special sense of God's presence during our team devotional times in the night. I am litterally seeing the transformation happen with each team member as we meet together around God's word. I found myself tonight during our conversation pausing to thank God for all the spiritual growth that has already happened within each team member. There is something wonderful happening in the lives of these team members that I know God will use to bring about more transformation. I am believing that as the week goes on, God would continue to cause transformation to occur in each person's life

Please continue to pray that God's transforming work would happening in the lives of our team members and that God would do his work both in and through us.

Missions Philosophy

Our philosophy of missions here at King Street Church is based on the biblical model found in Acts 1:8. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
