He Who Began A Good Work - Sunday March 13, 2011
We've made it to Barbados!
We arrived in Bridgetown last night at about 9:00 pm. It was a long day of travel but it went by surprisingly fast. Our friend Reg Parks from Seeds International picked us up at the airport and we ventured the 10 minutes to our home for the next 8 days. After taking a few minutes to settle down we gathered together for our first team devotional.
This week, our team with be journeying together through the book of Philippians verse by verse. We came across a famous passage right away in Philippians 1:6 - "And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." It felt extremely meaningful as we shared together about what good work we are noticing God doing in our life and discussing how God could bring it one step closer to completion this week.
Please pray for us this week. I am excited for the opportunity we have to invest in children's lives this week through our Seeds Presentation. We will have an chance to influence roughly 600 students a day. Our team is believing that God will move throughout these assemblies helping children take a next step towards discovering Jesus. But I'm also excited about seeing how God moves throughout our team. I'm believing that every team member will step into what God has for them more fully this week. I'm praying that whatever good work God has begun in each of our team members that he would bring it closer to completion this week.
So please pray for us and pray that God's will would be done in and through us this week!

Missions Philosophy
Our philosophy of missions here at King Street Church is based on the biblical model found in Acts 1:8. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
