Missions' News from around the World
Half Way Through - Wednesday March 16, 2011
Well, we are half way through our Barbados Missions Trip. Today was another full and effective day doing our Seeds Presentation. My favourite school today was our very last school of the day - St. Ambrose Primary School. We did the presentation in a beautiful old Catholic Church on the school's property. Throughout the show, there seemed to be a special sense of God's presence. I can't really explain it but it felt like God was sitting in on our presentation smiling over our team. It was a special moment.
Our team continues to serve well and has such a positive and contagious attitude! This was our second day of doing three schools in a day and we will be doing three schools a day for the rest of the week. It takes a lot of energy to do these presentations and at the end of each day our team is exhausted but God has been giving us all the strength we need and we wouldn't turn it down for anything.
Please pray for us. The heat is wonderful but can be really draining, especially for Jay who's dressed up in a costume for the whole presentation. Please pray that God would continue to give us everything we need to serve him and serve these children and that his presence would continue to be evident in our presentations.

Missions Philosophy
Our philosophy of missions here at King Street Church is based on the biblical model found in Acts 1:8. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
