Missions' News from around the World
Friday… Youth Night
Today was a great day! We woke up this morning and went to the Church to prepare for Saturdays various projects. The amount of food and backpack supplies is phenomenal. I’ve never seen so much stuff! Source de Vie is truly a blessing to their surrounding neighbourhood. I know many people are excited for tomorrow’s event. We also did some various landscaping projects that the church needed help with. Pastor Bruno continues to be encouraged with the effort that our team puts forward. We’ve been able to do extra projects because of our team’s hard work and our team continues to want to give their best while on this mission’s trip.
Tonight, we had the opportunity to lead the youth and young adult service at Source de Vie. It was a great night of serving! Our team led in worship, performed a drama, and delivered a tag-team message. Our team did an exceptional job and I was very proud of them. At the end of the night, we joined their group at Tim Hortons. It was fun connecting with their youth and young adults and seeing both of our groups interact well with each other.
Throughout this week I’ve been encouraged with the health of our mission’s partnership. The partnership that we have with Pastor Bruno and Source de Vie is a very good one. They have a heart to serve their community and are always seeking to help people take next steps in their spiritual journey. I’ve had the privilege of spending time with both the youth pastor and young adult leader and they are doing an exceptional job with their students. We’ve been able to learn from each other and, over the course of the week, build a healthy friendship.
Please continue to pray for Pastor Bruno and Source de Vie. Quebec is a difficult place to be a Christian. We have experienced some of the persecution first hand this week. But this church is strong, and I believe that as the church continues to prioritize their journey with Jesus that they will continue to have a positive influence in the community of Gatineau.

Missions Philosophy
Our philosophy of missions here at King Street Church is based on the biblical model found in Acts 1:8. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
