Missions' News from around the World
Czech Republic – Wednesday, February 10th
I just completed my journey to the Ostravia Region in the Czech Republic. After almost 20 hours of travel with a variety of transportation modes (plane, bus, train, and car), I have finally arrived at my hotel. Other than a two hour delay in London (because of regional snow storms) everything went well and smooth. I was warmly welcomed by Next Level International staff members as well as two Czech pastors who have already been incredible hosts. These pastors put it all on the line when it comes to their commitment to working for the kingdom of God. They are dedicated and focused to the mission of Christ. Ostravia is a region that has just been announced as the most polluted area in Europe. With many factories and industries you can;t help but notice the constant smog. I asked one of the pastors of the consequences to this pollution and he said, ;the pollution has had great effect in particular on the children of our city. Many children have respitory issues that hinder them and negatively affect them.; It struck me when he said that&;because moments earlier he was sharing of his own young children living in the area. Yes, they deal with some discomfort, but as a family reaching lost people in this town of over 12,000 is part of their vision ... even with all the challenges that go with it. These are inspiring people. My prayer is that I and all those reading this blog would be committed to the task of Christ in our own context no matter what the sacrifice!

Missions Philosophy
Our philosophy of missions here at King Street Church is based on the biblical model found in Acts 1:8. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
