Theology for Ordinary People

Everyone thinks about God! Even people who struggle to believe or have resolved that they don’t believe ... they still think thoughts about him! Each of us has drawn some conclusions about what he’s like, how he works in the world and how we’re intended to relate to him. Theology is nothing more or less than the ‘study of God’! I can’t think of a more worthwhile pursuit in life than to learn about God with both our mind and heart. A well regarded author and Pastor from another day once said; “The most important thoughts we think are the ones we think about God!“ (A.W Tozer). During the month of March, we’re going to host a series of talks entitled; "Theology for Ordinary People". We hope you will come and gather with us as we look at the Scriptures and consider together again - who God is, how he works in the world and how we can relate with him. There are some theological words that don’t mean much to ‘ordinary person’ in the world; but these words are critical in helping us grow a healthy understanding of God and how he works in our world. We will explore these words together - and in so doing, we will gain a greater awareness of the God who is greater than our minds can comprehend.
