The Road to Recovery: A Journey Through the Beattitudes

It could be said of us that each of us is in need of ';recovery';! God made each man and each woman in his image. God has placed something in us that reflects his nature and his character. The problem is, that each of us is only a ';distorted'; image, because of the affect of sin. God is restoring the world - one person at a time! Jesus came to announce that this is what God is doing - repairing the world!! Jesus taught us how to be restored. There is a life-changing series of talks that Jesus gave which are commonly referred to as his sermon on the mount. Within the sermon on the mount, Jesus teaches his friends the kinds of attitudes we should develop in order to ';recover'; the image of God in our lives. They are referred to as the BE-attitudes. This series of talks is taken from Jesus sermon on the mount - specifically his BE-attitudes. Each of us is in need of recovery and we hope these talks will help you become more fully recovered.
