Capital Campaign

We are in the process of Making Room for Others and we've adopted a saying around King Street Church that goes like this: "Healthy things Grow, and Growing things Change."
We're grateful for the measure of health that we have experienced! It's been encouraging to watch our church-family grow each year over the past five years. Health has led to growth and now we find ourselves facing some change.
As a church-community, we've made a decision together to step into a Property Development Plan. Draft conceptual designs have been created to help us understand what our present 4.95 acre property can absorb.
Three Phase Development
We are moving into a three phase development plan:
- Phase 1 includes a 1200 seat auditorium, lobby, cafe, library and support facility.
- Phase 2 includes a renovation of our present auditorium to become a student and children's ministry area.
- Phase 3 includes the creation of a high-school sized gymnasium.
Beginning after Thanksgiving 2011, we will start casting vision to raise $1.5 million towards phase 1. We already have $1.2 million towards phase 1. Our Making Room for Others Capital Campaign is forecasted to last three years and we continue to look to God for his confirmation and affirmation of this effort to make room for others.
